Selection process was not bad. No communication regarding the application for over two months even after several follow up from the candidate. Rejection letter refers to a recent interview and feedback discussion however this didn’t happen and there’s no direct contact person except their Smart Recruiters portal. At the end of the rejection email candidate is then asked to rate interview process on Glassdoor when there was in fact no actual interview conducted.

We are continuing to refine our recruitment process and we appreciate that it is lengthy at times. Balancing the need to run an efficient recruitment process and allowing the candidate an opportunity to find out about us and vice versa is also a consideration. The video interview, as well as the questions, do not give one a good platform to demonstrate and substantiate on the experience and skills. Although the platform gives one an opportunity to practice, I do not believe that a candidate should be providing rehearsed responses. The advantage of the face-to-face interview is that the candidate does not know what questions would be asked.
