      Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. La procedura ha richiesto 6 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Anheuser-Busch InBev (Toronto, ON) nel mese di ott 2014

      Colloquio

      1. Apply online, do an online fit test/questionnaire 2. Online Reasoning/Logic test 3. (One week later) Case interview. Given a case where you have to study the company's financial states and current state and suggest two new products to add to the brand portfolio. 20 minutes to prepare and present to two Labatt reps. They ask questions regarding your justification, plus why you, why GMT and Labatt (AB InBev) 4. (Next day) 2-on-1 behavioural interview. Standard behavioural questions. - How do you receive and give feedback? - Proudest accomplishment? - What motivates you? - Why GMT? Why Labatt (AB InBev)? - What's your favourite brand and why? - What would you do if the company gave you $1M with the condition that you had to return it in 3 years? etc. 1.5 weeks later, notified of invitation to fly out to Toronto for ABI Day. All expenses paid. 5. ABI Day. 60 candidates from all over Canada. Half day business simulation, half day group case. There were 30 or so assessors there ranging from VPs, Directors, Managers, past GMTs. Business Simulation: - 4 people were chosen at random to become the "president" of a beer company and pitch why the rest of the candidates should join their company. - The rest of the candidates at random were to choose a VP position and company/president (given the spots that were available) that they wanted to work with and pitch why they would make a good VP 'X'. - Go through 4 or 5 rounds of decision making for 3 key aspects: price, marketing expense, and corporate social expense. - Each round we were ranked against other teams and thats when questions/interrogations would be candidly thrown out from the assessors to specific teams or people. (i.e. X, is your President doing a good job, do you think you can do a better job? President X, your company is not performing, what's happening? etc.) - Throughout every round where we are working with our groups, there were always assessors walking around or sitting at our table listening in on discussions Tips: Be aware of everything say and the decisions you make. They are listening to everything you say and may question you about it during question. Group Case: - Each group given a broad question to work with, could be on corporate social responsibility, marketing, market competition etc. - Given 1 hour to work with group (again, assessors are rotating from group to group, listening in on discussions and watching group dynamics and taking notes) - 10 minutes to present to a panel of about 15 assessors, followed by a Q&A period - And yes, if you're lucky, they will ask you who in your team you would fire. Notified the next day that I would not be moving forward with the process. The successful candidates from ABI Day would have had another interview with the President of Labatt (AB InBev) Canada, and then a final round panel interview in St. Louis the week after. Overall, a great experience. But the fit just wasn't there.

      Online assessments then an assessment centre in Belgium, if successful followed up with a final panel interview in Belgium, difficult but an interesting experience. Be prepared to try and stand out in a a large group.

      First round: game-based assesments Second round: virtual case preparation (1 hour preparation time to make a comprehensive 3 minute pitch) Third round: Group Assessment day (2 interviews + business case game while constantly being monitored) Final round: panel interview together with other candidates, you hear each other's answers and are being monitored on when and what you answer. Tough questions from a panel of 4 senior managers.
