I sent my resume via email, and after two to three weeks, I received a email to set up a face-to-face interview in their Oakland office. The interviewer explained about the nature of this position including possible wages ($12/h) and bonus ($350 to $1,000/m). She, next, asked me some of basic questions: what is your strength? where did you learn Japanese? There was no language proficiency text. After the interview, I met CEO and other C-level executives. Although the management team appeared to be strongly profit driven, I really liked everyone I met in the office.
They were planning to set up a Skype interview with Japanese executives in Japan. However, I declined the offer because of unusual working hours (3pm to 11pm).
