I went through an 8 stage interview process which included meetings with peers, managers and a take home task followed by a presentation. Everyone I met was thoughtful and gave positive feedback throughout. The internal talent team did a great job keeping me informed at each step. Unfortunately, I was declined at the final founder stage due to asking repetitive questions that were not well thought out. While I respect the decision, it was frustrating to reach the end only to be judged on something that could have been flagged earlier and improved the experience for all involved. The product is excellent and the team seems genuinely passionate, but the process would benefit from involving the founder sooner. It felt like the rest of the team were leaning towards an offer, which made the final outcome disappointing.
