I had a 30 minute introductory call with an employee. The call was fine, but there are several things that this company is doing wrong.
Firstly, they have failed to declare the salary ranges for their New York positions even though it's a legal requirement. Even after being notified of this requirement, they still failed to do it. Given that they don't obey the law now, there is no hope that they will obey it later.
Secondly, there is a very high risk of this company illegally rejecting insurance claims using AI in the name of insurance guidelines which often are faulty and also illegal. The firm does not seem to have a plan in place to prevent such outcomes.
Third, after the interview, they changed the position, but did not even bother notifying me of the change. In other words, the position for which they interviewed me wasn't even real.
Fourth, they simply ghosted me altogether, with zero follow up.
