Colloquio
Was contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone screen. Then there was an onsite interview, followed by one more onsite interview. Overall really fast, effective, and smooth interview process! Everyone I spoke to was extremely welcoming and the recruiter was always available to answer any questions.

The phone interview with the recruiter was odd and misleading. First off, the recruiter was a half an hour late calling me. The recruiter then proceeded to tell me that the job position title that was posted online was incorrect and now it was something different. I asked the recruiter if they could change the title and they said that there is a possibility it could be reworked. Then, they proceeded to talk about themselves way more than they talked about the company for the rest of the call. I heard a lot about the recruiter's career and how they are loved by their boss more than I heard about the actual position.
I did make it to the second round of interviews. The second round of interviews was ridiculous. It lasted 6 hours and they didn't plan any breaks for me in that time. You would think I was interviewing for a VP position with what they had planned for me that day. But I wasn't even interviewing for a management position now that the title had changed. I sat in a room with a revolving door of people coming in and out to talk with me. A few of the people I talked with admitted that we would never work together. I asked the person who I would be directly reporting to if the title could be altered back to something similar to what they posted online and they said no, which means the recruiter who told me the title could be reworked misled me. Big shocker. But, the people I interviewed with were all basically asking me the same questions and after 5 hours I was exhausted. When it came to my presentation during the 6th hour, I tried really hard to act like I still wanted the job, but I just didn't care anymore especially since the title couldn't be altered.
After the marathon of interviews, I never received an email or a phone call. Big shocker again. I didn't really care since my whole experience with the company at this point had been negative. With this experience out of the way, I was extremely happy I didn't get a job there.

I applied for a marketing role at AppDynamics and within a few weeks of submitting my CV, I received an email from an HR person inviting me to 2 calls: an interview and a general information call to learn about the company. We scheduled a call with the hiring manager for the position. I waited for the call with the hiring manager and he/she never called. After waiting for 15 minutes, I emailed the HR person. She responded several hours later that the call needed to be rescheduled. My call with the HR person continued as planned and she debriefed me on the company and provided me information about what AppDyanmics does. On the same call with the HR person, I rescheduled my call with the Hiring Manager. On the day of the rescheduled call with the Hiring Manager, I received an email from the HR person asking to reschedule the call again. I responded to the email saying that was fine and let her know about my availability. After a week of having received no response, I followed up once more. The next day I received an email from the HR person saying the position was no longer available.
Felt the entire process was very unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful of my time.
