This interview process was one of the most prompt and organized that I have ever experienced! I was always in the loop for the next steps and they were very quick about letting me know if I was moving forward. My recruiter Amber has been fantastic at answering all my questions and getting everything scheduled. The first step was a screening call followed by a chat with the hiring manager. My experience was unique in that I was better fitted for a different position than I applied for, and my interviews were moved over to the new team seamlessly. After a portfolio presentation, I also presented an Appfolio flow critique and spoke to the 1-1 to the rest of the product team. The whole process took about 4 weeks.

The process starts with a recruiter phone screening, followed by a video chat with the director. If those go well, then it's a portfolio review with the team and then a heuristic evaluation exercise & presentation on their test environment. The final step is a 2-hour interview with various people on different teams asking behavioral and culture fit interview questions.

The overall process took about a month (excluding holidays). The recruiter was very responsive and supportive.
