This interview process was the most organized I've had compared to other companies. I never had to wait for a response more than 24 hours, I could always count on getting a response as soon as possible to get scheduled and get answers for any questions.
1st - Screening Call
30 Mins
2nd - Hiring Manager
30 Mins
3rd - Portfolio Review
25 mins to present, 5 minutes for Q&A
-This was recorded to be shared with other people and I was asked to present only one project.
4th - Heuristic Review & 4 1-1s
30 minutes to present, 30 minutes each with 4 people from the product team. Total, it was 4 hours and 15 minutes including breaks.
-The heuristic review is a critique on specific workflow in AppFolio which was a great way to showcase how you think as UX Designer specifically to the company's work. Preparing for this is definitely what makes the whole interview process difficult on top preparing for four 30 minute interviews almost back to back.
