I give a "thumbs up" to the interviewing process at Appnexus. The way they bring people in during a "blitz" day was efficient. They also train their employees on how to interview candidates effectively . The interviewers asked 3 kinds of questions: logic questions, behavioral questions and experience/technical questions. Logic questions are questions that test how you think and how your communication skills are while you're thinking. Behavioral questions test what you're made of (your personality and work ethic). Technical/experience questions test if you have the right experience/skills for the specific job that you're applying for (these questions will vary depending on the position you're applying for).

Multiple interviews with different people. Everyone was very friendly during this process. I have really enjoyed it. No more to say about the interview at AppNexus. Go for it, you'll be fine

Received an email inviting me for an interview with the hiring manager, and was to be followed up by someone from recruiting to setup the interview. After I responded with available times, there was a no-show. Received a response after ~45 days, saying the position will be closing shortly.
Recruitment team needs training on how to treat candidates as people.

Consisted of an initial call with HR, a meeting with several members of the team for half a day as well as a final call with a member of the leadership team. The interview process was fast, efficient and well organised. Communication with the recruitment team was fantastic throughout, I was kept fully informed about how things were progressing and next steps indeed everybody I met or spoke with was warm, welcoming and helpful. During my day of face-to-face interviews I was given a tour of the floor (very impressive working environment) and introduced to members of the team. I also had a nice break where I had tea and snacks and hung out with a friendly HR manager who talked me through what it was like to work at AppNexus. Overall this was easily the most well thought out interview process I have experienced. I was quickly updated after each stage and if I ever had questions or needed to make changes, the AppNexus team went out of their way to help. I cannot speak highly enough of the AppNexus team. I was thoroughly impressed with each interaction I had and was consistently treated with courtesy, respect and transparency.
