If you’re in store already know your competencies! As soon as you know you are going to apply start researching those competencies and applying them in your current role.
That will make or break your interview.
It is a long process if you’re new to the company and if you’re already with the company . Took about two months to have confirmation after three interviews.

long - 1-2 months generally 3-5 interview rounds including the initial group interview/seminar. Each interview thereafter is with one manager, one and one and then eventually the store manager where they generally group you with 2 or 3 other people.
