I was in the interview process with Apple for a ML/NLP engineer role from November 2023 until March 2024. I passed all the interview rounds (4 rounds). Before the final round, I was already asked who would relocate with me, etc., as this was supposedly the easiest round. After the final round, which also went well, the recruiter just never got back to me even though they had promised to call the next working day. I had to chase him for weeks to get any feedback. He read out the only positive feedback from the interviewers to me with recommendation to hire. He told me that the reason I was not made an offer was that they would not hire for this position anymore. It was incredibly frustrating and I still feel extremely disappointed by Apple.
