Interview itself was awesome! We started off discussing my application (Resume & experience, test scores, etc.) and then moved in to a mock tutoring session where I was given a few minutes to look over two practice problems, and then taught them to the hiring manager.
Overall, I'd say the process was dynamic and involved, but not stressful. Felt much more like a conversation than an interrogation. Of course, there were the standard questions any interviewer would ask, but I feel like it benefitted me as well. It was informative, in that it gave me a look at the interface I'd actually be using to teach, and a chance to practice teaching as well as demonstrate my skills. It was also a great opportunity to get a feel for the the company's culture.
This is what I feel like companies should be going for when they interview potential candidates.
