Short and sweet; a few behavioral questions and questions about experience. Brought me into the office for the interview. They asked me some questions and then I was offered the job on the spot. We talked about what my role would be and compensation.
Pros:
• Friendly HR staff and responsive during parts of the hiring process
• Opportunity to work at large venue and good exposure to event-based operations under Aramark
Cons:
• Lack of clear communication regarding job type (full-time vs. seasonal)
• Inconsistent information between manager and HR (the manager did not clarify that the job is seasonal not fulltime but for first 2 stages they said it was fulltime deceiving!)
• Uncertainty around work schedule, especially during off-season
• Onboarding process felt rushed with limited clarity on requirements- job offer was horrible and not detailed no complete text about work scheduke
Advice to Management:
Ensure alignment between hiring managers and HR when communicating job details, especially regarding employment type and schedule expectations. Providing clear, written confirmation early in the process would improve candidate experience and trust. Teach your manager how to apologize for being rude and misleading bec both of our time just wasted
Overall:
The opportunity itself is interesting, especially for those open to seasonal or event-based roles. However, candidates seeking stable, full-time employment may want to ask detailed questions upfront to avoid misunderstandings.
