I have had a screen call with the HR manager; followed up by a take-home project. I applied best practices to the project, 95%+ test coverage parallelism, dockerized the project, etc. However, the engineer who assessed it had a lot of comments regarding small nitpicks in the code structure and reproved it from the process. After my interview, I reached out for feedback, but I was completely ghosted. For a company that prides itself on ‘world-class quality,’ I fail to see how a lack of communication and feedback aligns with that standard. To me, this reflects a culture that doesn’t truly value giving or receiving feedback—something essential for growth and improvement. If this is how they treat candidates, I can only imagine how feedback is handled internally.

I was interviewed for a position on the Reverse Engineering/Crawling team as a Senior Software Engineer. These were the steps: 1 - Conversation with a recruiter 2 - Take home exercise 3 - Technical Interview (take-home deep dive and technical questions) 4 - Conversation with Principal Engineer 5 - Conversation with CTO (offer, starting day, etc) I received a lot of positive feedback about my performance throughout the process. But, for some reason, they stopped answering me before scheduling the final step meeting with the CTO. I sent some emails to the recruiter but never had an answer. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.
