They called my former employers and asked questions that made my former employers uncomfortable. My former employer claimed that some of the questions seemed "loaded" and "a little too personal".

I was asked my marital status and whether or not i had children. really inappropriate
This is the same person who gave us bad reviews because we laid her off. Nobody in our office would call and ask personal questions nor are we interested or ask about marital status. Besides being inappropriate it is irrelevant to us. In fact we are extremely flexible when it comes to children , family issues, etc. Thanks
