Colloquio
Telephone interview with HR - quite formal, not the most friendly, and the questions were very tough.
Started with questions to see if I was suitable for the company, and was followed by 3 situational scenarios, I also had to justify my location choices, which I wasn't expecting!
As I said I found it a very tough process, but I did get through to the next stage, so it can't have been too bad!

Which of Arup'a values resonate with you, and then followed up with how I feel I'd fit in with these values.

Interviewer provided a 2 minute introduction of ARUP. Then asked about my motivation to join arup, and which of ARUPs values I liked. Then it turned to the Situational question. It was very fast paced and the interview picks at every detail you say. Be prepared.

Senior colleague from another discipline is struggling - you have submitted your project an hour before it’s deadline, what do you do? What could you offer? How would they take your offer?
Half an hour phone interview. The first part included typical HR questions. In the second part, there were situational questions.
The situations were:
1)I am working on a big project and my manager asks me to move to a smaller one. How do I react, what questions do I have for my manager etc.
2)I already have a big workload with competing deadlines and my manager asks me to take on more work. How do I react etc.
3)My team has one hour until the deadline of a project and one of the senior team members from another discipline is struggling. What do I do etc.
