The interview was in 2 stages. The first stage was with the immediate team and the second stage was with senior management.
Questions focused on:
- Why I was considering leaving my previous role
- What goal I wanted to achieve in my time at Arup

Applied on Arup website, was contacted by HR to undertake a initial phone screening call. Screening call went well, woman was very friendly. Asked questions about what I know about the company, why I want to work for Arup, salary expectations, notice period etc.
Second part including a Teams interview with 2 staff. Staff were very bland and not very responsive, interview felt uncomfortable. Lasted about 1 hour. Contacted by email 2 weeks later to say I didnt get the job.
I dont come from a consultancy background but I was asked questions which would seem difficult from a individual who works in a different sector.
Unfortunately interviewers were not very understanding of this, could have engaged more to get to know me personally.

Initial Phone Screening
1 week later had a Teams interview with 2 interviewers. They were friendly and easy to engage with.
Offer took about 3 weeks to come through after that.
