The interview process was very quick and efficient. I applied online and received a response in less than a week to speak with the hiring manager. There were two rounds of virtual on-site interviews and I spoke with 6 interviewers total. The recruiter and coordinator were very responsive and hand-held me through the process from beginning to end. The interviewers were very polite, and every single one seemed incredibly motivated and love working at Asana (from OG's to recent hires). There seems to be an emphasis on not only hiring intelligent candidates with the right background to fulfill a business need, but also the right mindset and attitude to effectively work in a collaborative culture.

I was called by a recruiter for a preliminary screening and then moved on to a call that same week with someone from the team I would be working on. I completed a demonstration of work exercise with a due date/time frame of 3 days. The next week I was asked to come in for a ~4 hour interview with multiple team members, including lunch (AMAZING food). The final step of the interview was a short interview with the head of the department I would be working in. The recruiters were attentive and communicative throughout the process, and overall I can scarcely think of how the interview experience could have been improved!
