Simple panel interview. Questions divided into three sections: 1) Personal History - Basic CV questions: school, university, positions of responsibility, extracurriculars etc. 2) Changing legal market - Knowledge of developments. - Innovations; automation; out-sourcing; alternative business structures etc). 3) Competencies - Basic legal competencies (i.e. attention to detail; time-management etc). - How do your experiences fit in with the Ashurst ethos/goals?

Submitted CV alone, and received call to come in for interview. Interview was competency based and relatively straightforward questions. Took only 40 mins max. Received a call the next day offering me the position, as this was during a large recruitment period for the company. Interviewers were friendly and interested.
