I have applied to Assetmark for a contract position at least three times. This latest time, I had 2 phone interviews, 2 in-person interviews, and then waited 4 weeks for them to get back to agency.
They are keen to know why I want to work at Assetmark, as if I am seeking a meaningful relationship on a contract. I just want to say "Look, I am a hired gun, and you have a job. Let's not make it complicated."
Message for Assetmark: Show candidates the common courtesy of providing feedback that is meaningful and get back on an appropriate timeline. 1-2 weeks is not 4 weeks. Instead of asking me why Assetmark, tell me why I should work at Assetmark, bearing in mind that the motivation of a contract is completely different than an FTE.

The first step was a phone interview and then a zoom call which was quick and pretty simple overall. Interviewer asked the standard set of interview questions. Then, interviewer talked a little about the projects that were being worked on.

Please describe to me a little about your background?
The interview process is pretty long. The team made sure hiring is careful selection and considerations. Recruitment team is great and communicates frequently. Great experience overall with the company. I got responses back really quickly
