      I have never written reviews about a potential employer after an unsuccessful interview, but the unbelievable unprofessionalism of AstraZeneca in Gothenburg left me with no choice. It all began on the evening of May 16, 2023, when, without any prior notice, I received an SMS from a robot, informing me that I had an interview scheduled with the hiring manager (unfortunately, I'm not able to provide their name or position) for the position of Clinical IT Senior Business Analyst. It was quite unusual, but I was excited as I considered this job promising and closely aligned with my experience. The interview itself went well, and the manager was welcoming, leaving me with a very positive impression. Subsequently, with a slight delay, the robot scheduled a second interview for me on June 7, in which, in addition to the manager, people with pretty high positions were supposed to participate (no names, again). Okay, great, I started preparing. The second interview, in my opinion, went decently but certainly not terribly. Hiring manager promised to get back with an answer within 2-3 weeks, which was quite a long timeframe, but I decided to wait. About 3 weeks passed, and there were no messages. On June 26, I decided to reach out to the manager, but he did not respond. He didn't respond after a month or even two. It was only on August 15 that I received a formal response from the robot stating that my application had been declined. The email included the HR manager's contact, to whom I wrote a letter asking for any feedback on the reasons for the rejection. She apologized and promised to get back to me with an answer, but... she never did. Bravo, AstraZeneca, bravo hiring manager and co... it is incredibly unprofessional to deceive a candidate twice with feedback and disregard their time and effort. I strongly do not recommend this company.
