once i finished the application and i could receive the online assessment immediately, with 3 interview videos. the questions are not difficult but i failed in the video interviews so i wanna learn some experience from glassdoor

After initial registration I was invited to a standard situational judgement test, then, I was asked to complete a formal application. The formal application was also standard but also included three additional questions with a suggested minimum of 300 words each. As there was no opportunity to submit a cover letter, writing responses to these questions took a considerable amount of time. Being rejected after putting so much effort into a written application is incredibly frustrating, especially after passing some initial criteria and then due to volume of applicants no feedback can be given either. Seems like a waste of both the applicants and recruiters time if the what felt like the body of the application isn't even read at all.
