Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Atlassian (Sydney) nel mese di mag 2020
Colloquio
I was contacted via LinkedIn by an internal recruiter. All interviews were done via Zoom due to COVID-19. Interviews are code agnostic, so you can use whichever language you want.
There were a total of 5 interview stages:
1. Coding design
Gauges your coding design ability. Will ask you to implement a feature (I got rate limiting) to see your general OOP/code design chops.
2. Data structures
Will start by specifying an easy problem that gets progressively harder as they add more requirements for the problem.
3. System designs
You'll be tasked with designing a subsystem. Pretty straightforward -- make sure to ask clarifying questions and don't presume.
4. Team interview
Interview with potential team lead/manager. Normal stuff; asks about your previous experience with tech, your development process, etc.
5. Values interview
They'll go through the Atlassian values one by one and ask questions revolving around each. I recommend reading up the values and noting down some stories about each one.
My interview process took a bit longer than usual at around 1 month. I cleared all the stages in about 4 weeks, but had to wait because there was another potential team with more urgent hiring need so I waited to had a chat with the team lead.
All in all it was the best interview process I have gone through. All the interviewers were very personable -- there were no gotcha esoteric questions and it felt more like talking to peers. Every question asked was relevant to the job. The recruiters and candidate experience manager were extremely professional and very prompt in following up. You also get feedback after every interview (and a summary in the end) which were very on-point and very much appreciated.

Recruiter reached out to me then ghosted in the middle of trying to set up a meeting. Very disrespectful of my time. Just as well, how a company treats candidates is usually a good indicator of how they treat employees
