      Colloquio per Loyalty Advocate

      21 set 2020
      Candidato anonimo a colloquio

      Nessuna offerta
      Esperienza negativa
      Colloquio difficile

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Atlassian (Amsterdam) nel mese di feb 2020

      Colloquio

Quite extensive. After I applied, these were the steps: - Screening call with recruiter - 30 mins - After screening call, was given a written assignment which they estimated would take 45 minutes (though it took me about double that) - Zoom Interview with hiring manager - 45 minutes - Invited onsite (this was right before covid hit) for 4 separate face-to-face interviews, back to back - 3 hours total - On the same day as the onsite (but 5 hours later), had a Zoom interview with global head of department based in the US - 30 minutes So in total, 7 interviews and a written assignment. Tons of prep and research into the role and the company (their history, competitors, etc), moving my work calendar around, and took a full day off work for the last stage (4 face to face and one Zoom interview). The tone of the interviews was quite serious, not much banter and small-talk wasn't really reciprocated. Not a good or a bad thing, just an observation. I was quite confident with how I performed and was waiting anxiously to hear back after the final interview. In past interviews with 2 other companies where I went deep into the interview process but didn't get chosen for the role, the feedback was delivered via a phone call to explain their decision and offer me constructive feedback. With Atlassian though, I received a generic templated 'thanks but no thanks' email a couple days afterwards with zero feedback. When I asked for honest feedback all I was told it was a very competitive round, and to keep my eyes out for future openings. Not that the company owed anything to me, however I feel strongly that after a candidate spends a significant amount of time preparing for a role, and goes through multiple interviews over the span of a few weeks and reaches the final stage, the least the company can do is give a proper explanation or feedback as to why the candidate didn't get the role, where they fell short, what they could have done better, etc. Such a gut punch to go through the whole process to not only be turned down for the role, but to receive that news via generic 'thanks for your time' email. Maybe that kind of email can be sent to someone after the screening interview, but not at the finish line. Hopefully Atlassian can see this feedback and use it to improve the process for future candidates.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Wanted to know a lot about my count management experience, what my colleagues would say are my strengths/weaknesses, my experience with SaaS sales, renewals, etc. What is something you are an expert at?
