A friend referred the Atlassian recruiter to me for this role. At first, it was a good experience as a passive candidate. They were very respectful of my time. But over the course of the interview process, (6 weeks!) they got more and more demanding with very little communication about next steps. They were also unsure of what the role would really be, and I got conflicting perspectives from different interviewers. In the end, I did not get the offer because they were moving forward with an internal candidate. My guess is that one of my six interviewers whom repeatedly said she wanted this role, ended up applying. Time (and Linkedin status updates) will tell.
