Internal Disconnects: It suggests potential misalignments between the recruiting team's initial understanding/messaging and the hiring manager's actual, criteria. The automated rejection after a personal "moving forward" comment makes the process feel cold and inconsiderate (and it is). When a company's "front door" – its recruitment team – operates this way, it's very easy and understandable for candidates to extrapolate that to the broader internal culture. If they treat potential hires this way, how do they treat their employees? It's a fair question to ask. Suggest changing culture page on their website to "pi** poor culture".
