I have met a manager of Avanade at EPFL career fair and was invited to an interview in November 2018. I was received by Mrs. Romina Teixeira which has made the standard HR/motivational type of question followed by an interview with two managers with more technical questions in regards to my background and professional aspirations. Both meetings were pretty standard with a clear focus in my aspirations and technical skills. A lot of curiosity was also placed in the fact that I was an expat in Switzerland but with a Masters degree from The Netherlands and internships spread around 3 EU countries. After these two meeting and fast-forward one week I promptly received a standard rejection email. After trying to contact (several times) the recruiter requesting feedback on my application I never heard anything back. No feedback, no comment. Nothing whatsoever. I believe that this level of treatment toward young graduates (or any employee in general) should tell you a lot about the corporate culture of this company.
