Pretty much all of these company reviews are fake. There's over 30 but at the time of writing this, this branch only had 15 people and is 7 months old. This "business" is a pyramid scheme where you'll be expected to sit at a booth trying to get people to subscribe to cable companies inside of Walmarts and Best Buys 11 hours a day, 6 days a week. Avante Advertising lies in their job descriptions and uploads fake job applications that make it seem like candidates are applying to real jobs. Whatever management or marketing job you thought you applied for doesn't exist and even if it did, you have to start at the bottom of the totem pole and work to get there. 100% commission based pay. The company culture may seem laid back at first, but the office blares music and has a TV with sound on seemingly 24/7. Their team meetings consist of literally yelling and chanting. Also, it seems like dress code is always business professional even though the office itself is a dump. The entire candidate experience is a mess. Both times I came to interview, I was completely ignored by every employee while I was waiting in the lobby, unable to concentrate because it was so loud. The 2nd interview you'll be asked to drive 30 minutes to their "promotion event" which is, you guessed it, a booth in a big box store. The interviewer read from a handwritten script that she took a picture of on her phone. If you have 6 months and find the idea of slaving away selling subscriptions to people enjoyable then this may be the job for you.

three rounds of interviews. first interview was a basic get to know you interview. second interview was a full day observation testing my entrepreneurial skills, motivation, work ethic, and student mentality.

Got to the interview and was immediately nervous. The office had a welcoming feeling that helped relieve any worries. The CEO set me up with a corporate trainer who took to to a Best Buy as part of my second interview. The trainer was very informative and answered any and every question I had. When I got back to the office I was asked a few questions. I was hired on the spot and so far it’s been an amazing experience!
