The initial call with the recruiter was pleasant and informative. However, I was ultimately rejected because my degree and years of experience didn't meet their internal expectations. Both of these details were clearly listed on my resume prior to the call, and I met the experience requirements listed on the posted job description, including the years of experience that was listed. It was disappointing to go through a screening only to be disqualified over upfront resume details rather than technical screening questions. I would recommend for the team to update the job descriptions to make their hard requirements clear before candidates apply. Nonetheless, I think the company’s mission and product is very meaningful.
