1. Applied on their website, and got an email to schedule a phone interview within a day or two. The phone call was great. Learned a lot about Axios and it’s core values. Basic personality and qualifications assessment call. 2. I was then moved forward to schedule a call with the tech lead. He was very knowledgeable and straightforward with his questions - made me feel at ease when possible. 3. Went on to do a Code Wars style coding test. Took a couple hours to complete - moderately difficult. Received an email a few days later from the recruiter that I had been in contact with from the beginning. She let me know that they decided to move forward with another candidate. Overall extremely pleasant experience every step of the way. Alexis (the recruiter) was so patient and thorough - answering my questions and ensuring I was comfortable throughout the process. Didn’t get the job but would still say 10/10 one of the best recruitment processes I’ve been a part of.
