Extremely messy. I applied online. Company reached out to schedule a multi-hour, in-person interview within the week, giving very little flexibility. The first person I interviewed with said he had nothing to do with my role or hiring. I talked to 2 other people that day, before later getting reached out to do a second round phone interview with another person who did not relate to the job. The company later tried to excuse the confusion by saying the the recruiter was out of the country at this time.
