A staffing agency contacted me for this role. Despite the Swedish HR priding himself for being in the company for a very long time, the interview was an utter disappointment. Not only weren't there any professional interviewing skills involved, they spent the whole 2+ hours going through what was written on my CV without giving any opportunity for elaboration of achievements. When asked to give an introduction of myself, obviously one would mention about their work experiences, which I did. However I was asked to start again from the very beginning to introduce myself, i.e. "give us an introduction starting from where you grew up". The HR was not familiar with the culture of the country/region where he was conducting the interview and asked some insensitive questions during the interview. No wonder HR is getting a bad name nowadays. I started to appreciate my company's HR a lot more after this experience.
