Step 1- improve a wpf application. Step 2- zoom with hiring manager. application refactor should be quite easy if you know the tech. much scope of improvement there in a variety of aspects. i really like this as the first step as it tests the real skills and allows you to show what depth you can bring to the job, better than those online coding tests that seem to be the norm these days. Zoom Interview was also quite easy. Hiring manager was calm and polite. Above all, HR is quite responsive, got quick update the very next day about not moving ahead. Overall good experience, didn't get held up for long and could switch focus onto the next priority.
