      Colloquio

      I had a friend who worked at Aya and he passed my resume along to the HR manager. Applying online works just as well though!!! I received a call from the HR manager 1-2 days later and had the phone interview at the same time as initial call. After the interview was over, I received a link from HR to take a personality assessment. After passing the personality assessment, I was invited to the office for an in person interview. During the interview, I met with the HR manager and one of the team managers. They asked some behavorial questions and questions about my previous experience. We had some good laughs and after getting to know me, I was invited back for a second interview the next week. In my second interview, I met with a team lead (works directly under the team manager) and the CEO/Owner of the company. The team lead was a female and she mainly just wanted to know about my experiences and what motivates me. She was very low pressure and her personality made the interview less intimidating. But after they give you the laid back interview, they hit you with the CEO interview. At first, I thought that they were just kidding about me meeting the CEO but was pleasantly surprised when Alan walked in to the room. He is a polite guy when you first meet him but he only spends about 3 minutes or so asking questions, then he abruptly leaves the room to get back to whatever meeting or conference call he placed on hold to meet with you. Even if you feel that you had a great interview with the other managers, he will leave you questioning whether or not you got the job because he has a great poker face. A couple of days later, I received a call from the HR manager with a job offer. Once you accept and sign your offer, they will send you an authorization form to start the background check. They also check your references so make sure you have some goods one in mind!!

      Did phone screening and didn’t hear back. Questions were basic but not sure what they were looking for more salesy than recruiting. After that didn’t hear back. They were pretty picky but job descriptions is entry level

      This was one of the most unprofessional interview processes I’ve experienced in quite some time. As a recruiter myself, I make it a point to clearly communicate with candidates when sending an assessment, including letting them know it may land in spam since it’s often the first outreach and contains a link. I would never expect a candidate to complete an assessment without any prior communication or context. After completing the assessment, I received no follow-up and was effectively ghosted. Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve had this experience with an Aya recruiter. I understand that things get busy, but clear and respectful communication should remain a priority throughout the process.
