Contacted by recruiter; very friendly; easy process; I had to take a test of particular skills, and in total it took about a week for an official offer to come my way. I'd say that the process was pretty straightforward.

Not super formal; more of a conversation about experience and background. An interview with a manager and his superior occurred on the same day, and it was pretty informal.
