I was interviewing for the journalist role at Radio 4 for World at One and PM. The panel didn't do anything to put me at ease. The brief was about identifying my strengths but at no point during the interview process did they demonstrate that.

Standard panel interviews which were mostly technical in nature. Was asked to prepare two tasks for two rounds of interviews. Process did, however, take nearly six months from application to final result.
Many stages. Application, then online test, and then video recording. Quite tricky, as you need to include every value into every aspect. Very easy to understand, and well to explain. You don’t get feedback sadly.

BBC interviews focus on BBC values and behaviours as well as essential transferable skills and experience for the role. There is also situational questions you need to answer and sometimes a prepared test depending in the job.
