Colloquio per Senior Business Development Manager

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto più di 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso BD (Tempe, AZ) nel mese di ago 2018

      Colloquio

I originally applied online, went through a phone screening interview with HR, had a follow-on phone interview with the hiring manager, and then was flown to Arizona for a marathon half-day of interviews with two HR people, the hiring manager and three team members. The in-person interviews went amazingly well - there was immediate chemistry with the team and I was told by one interviewer to my face that I was precisely what they were looking for. Three days later, I received an email from HR requesting I fill out an online form that required personal information including my SS number and driver's license, three references and my consent to undergo a background check and a drug screening. I took that to mean Bard wanted to move forward with my candidacy. Why else would they request this information? Three weeks of radio silence went by before I reached out to several of those who had interviewed me to get an update as to the status of my candidacy. Not one of those people could be bothered to respond, but a few days later HR called to inform me they had "decided to go in a different direction". No constructive feedback, no reasoning and no explanation why they requested private information if they had no intention of moving forward. One of the most bizarre experiences I've had and one of the most thoughtless/careless (and consequently cruel) treatment by HR I've encountered - and to no apparent purpose. Once I was no longer viewed as a potential resource, I was about as valuable as yesterday's trash.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Very standard interview questions that I've been asked a million times in the past.
