I have received a call from Naukri (Job Portal) HR informing me about the interview with BDO. I had 2 video rounds with Manager as well as Sr. Manager. The requirement was urgent and needed a immediate joiner. As I lost my job due to pandemic I was ready to join immediately. After 1 week I have been informed by Naukri HR with the email screen shot from BDO manager that I have been selected and offer letter is in process. After this process there was no communication at all for 2 weeks. When personally reached out then I came to know they are checking my background. the process continued for a month then I received further communication that background check is completed and now company is waiting for internal approval on the position. In the very next week I have been told that the project is on hold. Do not understand why do you take interviews until the project is approved and if they are checking any candidate background company must request some documents.
