I applied online for the remote member consultant position. They same day they contacted me to setup a phone interview. The phone interview went fine. Answered a couple STAR questions and was told about the job.
Heres where it went downhill. The interviewer told me I would be hearing back within a week if i was going to move on to the next step. Three weeks went by and I hadnt heard either way and my application status still said Interviews Underway. They dont really give you anyone to contact since this was all done remotely. I emailed the HR department to ask about if I was still under consideration. They forwarded the email to the recruiter I talked with and she said that I didnt get the job. A few minutes after getting this response my application status changed to not selected. Im fine with not being selected but they should let people know instead of stringing them along.

I received an email with an invitation to do a half hour phone interview with an HR screener. After that, I was asked to do a zoom interview with two branch managers.

Most of the questions asked were pretty standard, but they did ask me to tell them about something that I did for someone else without being asked.

Process takes forever and recruiter usually doesn't follow up with you. It took my recruiter to get back to me at least a week after constant emails to follow up with her and multiple phone calls. She would say "do you have time later this week?" on Monday and no responses back until Friday. Can't really schedule anything else until she gets back to you after a week or two and saying "I've been busy". I'm still waiting on her to reply back to my last email from last week, but at this point I don't think I want to go any further with this.
It seems BECU definitely doesn't value candidates' time and effort (or at least her). I wouldn't recommend my friends to apply here with this negative experience.
Interview with managers were nice and friendly but I wouldn't go back here.
