BET Networks has a massive office in LA and it was difficult to find parking so plan ahead. Once I got inside I met right away with two women. They asked me about my experience, what shows on BET I knew about, and what I could offer to the position.

I was asked to come in for a brief interview with my potential supervisor. the interview was more focused on general interests and personality qualities. It was not too job specific. I was asked questions like why I chose the major I did and why I thought I was a good fit for the available intern spot.

One interview, very straight to the point and professional. After the interview was over they contacted to me through phone and email. It was a very simple process. Once I was extended the offer I had three days to accept.

I had applied the semester before I started working there and received a call for an interview but had to turn it down because I had already accepted another offer. I had asked to be considered for the following semester and was given another opportunity to come in for an interview that following semester.

Honestly, there were no hard questions. The hiring manager that called me in, really only wanted to know more about me and my previous internship experiences. They were very pleased to hear me speak passionately about the industry and what I wanted to do. This doesn't mean that the interview was super casual, I do believe that during this process they are still making observations about who is being interviewed.
