I applied in Dec 2020 for internship A and Jan 2021 internship B. My application gained interest but were immaturely addressed by recruiters.
The first internship, a recruiter reached out to me about my legal ability to work in the country. I gave her my details. She said she will reply in a few days. Never did. So I followed up nicely, and said maybe it went to her spam box. Again, no reply. How irresponsible and unprofessional.
The second internship, another recruiter reached me for a recommendation letter. I gave her the requested document. She said she will reply me very soon on 26 January 2021. Now, it is 2nd February 2021.
BMW recruiters have the standard to fake promise a reply but then ignore applicants if they are not successful. Then DON'T say you will reply soon. The recruiters were from Alphabet. Disappointing.

A very friendly interview with a hiring manager and one member of the tech team. They asked some basic questions and also some technical questions. The vibe is relaxed and pleasant.

The interview was professional yet relaxed, and I really enjoyed the technical exchange with the team. We discussed the practical application of software architecture and mechanical sensor integration in a way that felt like a conversation between peers. While there was a slight delay in the follow-up due to internal scheduling, the team was very transparent and kept me updated throughout the process. Overall, it was a positive experience with a respectful and engaging atmosphere.
Just prepare normal behavioral interview question and a little bit of technical questions related to the role. The recruitment process of the internship consist of one interview then after that you get an offer.
