Every resume is screened through HR first through Taleo before possible applicants are sent to the hiring manager. Once an applicant is requested for an interview, they meet with HR first to fill out paperwork and then HR walks them to the hiring manager, in a different building, for the interview. Each area has different standards for interview questions - it is up to each hiring manager.
