      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso BOYNE (Big Sky, MT) nel mese di ott 2023

      Colloquio

I applied in mid September and received an email around the 1st of October saying that my application had been received and reviewed by HR and forwarded to the Hiring Manager and to please give them at least a week to get in touch with me. Around 5 days later I received a second email for setting up an interview time. I immediately responded and set one up for the following mornning. During the interview I was asked multiple questions (5-6) about how I had shown good customer service and communication skills in past jobs and how I would be able to use these skills to do the Ticket Checking job well. I was told all about the benefits and pay and that I would be able to apply for employee housing and asked if I was at least able to ski double blue-square runs. The Hiring Manager was extremely professional and quite nice and even after difficult questions, like basically "convince me that you have proficient communication skills"....which caught me off guard, they were very helpful in rewording the question so that I was able to more appropriately approach the answer to the question. I even mentioned how much more difficult it was to convince someone that you have good communication skills, than to actually be a good communicator, to which the Hiring manager commented "that's quite good insight, thanks." And then I was allowed to ask any questions that I could think of.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

      1) What is a situation in your past experience where you have had to deal with customers in a professional work environment, and would you be able to deal with being around hundreds of customers at a time. 2) Provide a scenario where you would be able to diffuse a bad situation with an upset/angry customer and what tactics did you use to do so. 3) Describe how you were able to maintain good and clear communication at previous work places. 4) There may be several varying tasks/responsibilities that you will be asked to do on any given day as well as different shift locations and times. Will this be an issue for you and how have to handled this in previous jobs.
