I was initially contacted by the COO by email from his Indeed account. He indicated that a newly created position was being established and wanted to know if I would be interested. After a dozen emails and weeks later I was contacted by HR to come in for an interview. My initial interview was with the HR Director and CFO both of these individuals have been with the company less than 6 months. At the conclusion I asked the CFO about how long it will be before a decision is made and he became abrupt and said he could not tell me. I was called in for a 2nd round with the Owner and COO with HR Director present both seem very professional and cared about the selection of the right person. The interview from my perspective went well. I then received an odd email from the COO asking me what my salary requirements are. I found this odd because during the initial email exchanges I was clear on what I was looking for. That same day I received a call from the HR Director asking me to come in at short notice to take a skills assessment test. The test consisted up creating a pivot table and generating reports from ADP PCPW. I did not do well on the pivot because I haven't used that function of excel in years and used PCPW only for 6 months a few years ago. I next day the COO emailed me from his indeed account asking if I could do a conference call. I never responded because this entire process was a waste of my time and completely unprofessional.
