The selection event comprises of two group activities(one being not graded), introduction to company presentation, a campus tour guided by last year graduate scheme selectees, and a 30-minute interview (including 10-minute pre-prepared presentation). Everything was smooth aside from difficulty in reaching the Watford campus on the first place. Questions were not tricky as long as you had taken enough time to research the company and basic knowledge on the built environment.

I just attend the VI, it was good. Quite simple and short questions, no tecnical questions in this stage. Recruiter is friendly . And I passed the VI, hope I can get the job.

Why you want work for Bre? What do you know about BRE?
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso BRE Group (Watford, East of England, England) nel mese di mar 2019
Colloquio
The usual pre-interview process of cover letter, SJT/online assessments etc. There was only one assessment day/interview rather than the multiple-staged approach which I've come across elsewhere, which I appreciated as it allowed me to focus solely on the one day and was logistically easier, as the Watford campus is a little tricky to reach.
The day consisted of one assessed group activity which lasted around 30 minutes and one interview with two members of staff, including a 10 minute presentation which was prepared beforehand.
We also got to chat to people working in the business and recent graduates, and had a tour of the BRE site. Overall there was a pleasant atmosphere and we were made to feel welcome, which compared favorably to other assessment days I've been on which at times have been far more hostile and tense.
