Assessment Centre was a one day interview with 4 different session including case study, group discussion, presentation and in person interview.

First are a series of online test which I passed. The next stage is a video interview where I was told I had passed this stage and the next stage would be an assessment centre. After waiting for months I then received an email saying that all the vacancies for the role I applied for had been filled and so my application couldn't go any further? Surely the company would wait until all candidates had completed the assessment centre before filling roles?
