The interview position was good at first but I thought it was a scam by the moment they said it was all through Microsoft teams through typing and no video. I got to the point that I even signed the employment offer and was waiting for a cheque to purchase my equipment for work. That being said, I contacted our government employment line, I forwarded the conversation and emails, and they informed me to block them and not pursue any further conversation that it was 100% a scam. It was such a waste of my time as this went on for in total of 10 hours of my time.
Please be aware that interviews should be in person or through video, no company will send anyone cheques, especially via email! Companies that want to hire you will provide equipment set up for you to work and will not ask you to start the next day (usually). I hope this helps the next person to not get scammed!
