Resume submission, an initial phone screen with chief economist and current research analyst, then on-site interviews with chief economist, head of research, other research staff, and eventually members of other departments. The on-site interview process is long, but pretty relaxed. Just be prepared to talk in detail about any projects listed on your resume, and don't pad your resume with technical skills you don't really have.
Hypothetically, let's say that I wanted to be able to scrape bank data from PDFs on a government website. Do you think you could do it? If so, describe how you would approach it? (This wasn't really hypothetical, this wound up being my first big project).

It was a speech instead of interview.
There was an old guy who was talking all the time, trying to criticize Federal Reserve. He was so unprofessional that brought presidential candidate to interview!
When I asked him why are you working in BPI, he said because it is not like FED!!!
There was also a girl who asked a lot of unrelated questions and tried to find loophole in my resume all the time!
Such a waste of time
