Colloquio
Initial call with the co-founder then Skype call with the co-founder and Technical Director. The interviewees quizzed me on every single position I've had dating back to high school, including what my experience was in high school - not sure how this one was relevant. Additionally, I was asked for the positive/negative feedback every one of my bosses would say about my performance. Not only did they ask about the feedback those bosses they provided, they asked for their titles and my relationship with them. I have no issue with this if they are asking for references and considering me for the actual position. However, this alone probably took 15-20 minutes and seemed unnecessary at this point in the interview process. Meanwhile, the entire Skype call was 1.5 hours. Near the end of the Skype call, there was essentially an oral exam with 10 or 15 questions requiring deep thought and calculations on the spot. This would also be perfectly acceptable if there had been any sort of warning in advance.

What positive and negative feedback would every single one of your managers say about you?

The whole process was oxymoronic--the interview process on Barrel's end was very systematic, but their communication to me was extremely poor. I was told minimal details about my in-person interview (third round). Not only did I have to secure the spot, but also, the process ended up taking way more time than I was told, plus included an intense series of questions to answer--nine paragraph-long scenarios. Which would have been fine answering, if I were given a heads up.
Thankfully, the co-founder was honest when answering my questions. I applied to a position that was advertised to me as paying $65k, and instead, I was actually being considered for a low-paying, internship position. Plus it was revealed to me that staff tends to stay there for less than a year, around 7 months. In addition, the environment was very male-dominated and the office itself is pretty grungy. It looks cool online, but is different in person--very much epitomizes "social media vs. reality"...
