A hiring bar that only works in your favour if you have years of experience in inference systems and production ML infrastructure, which feels somewhat misaligned given how recently the industry has matured. Absolute waste of my time to go through technical screens and the onsite to get the impression that only "near-perfect" candidates would make it. Their team loves to claim they are "hiring a ton" when in reality they are largely "interviewing a ton" to find a 100% perfect candidate, and they don't mind waiting months to make that happen. Selective/Picky senior engineers and managers, the only positive part of the process were the technical screens that were grounded in practical engineering scenarios rather than LeetCode.
